Mary Russo Rau began her adventure with the Wood River Valley in the spring of1994. Like so many, she came to vacation and never left. After marrying her husband and becoming the mother of 2, Mary wanted to share her passion for this unique place with others, like her, choosing to live amidst the Wood River Valley’s special magic. Shortly after activating her real estate license, Mary joined Sun Land Investments and hit the ground running. With over 20 years professional experience in advertising, marketing and public relations, Mary’s skill set brought forth success on many levels. Her full understanding of professionalism and providing the highest level of customer service has worked to the benefit of both buyers and sellers. Mary and her family have lived in the Wood River Valley for the better part of 15 years. She is an active member of the community volunteering in the schools and for various local non-profits. Don Porterfield
Don earned a Bachelor of Science degree in Real Estate from the University of Southern California and has completed an additional 2,000 +- hours of real estate education over his career. He had a commercial/industrial/litigation real estate appraisal practice in Riverside, California for 28 years prior to his moving to the Wood River Valley in December, 1992. In conjunction with the California appraisal practice he qualified as an expert in real property value in the Superior Courts for the counties of Riverside, San Bernardino, Orange, San Diego and Los Angeles as well as the United States District Court for the Central District. After relocating to Idaho, he became a Generally Certified Real Estate Appraiser and conducted an appraisal practice in Blaine County until March, 2006, when he retired after 41 years. He has qualified as an expert in real property value in the Idaho District Court for Blaine County.
He was a California Real Estate Broker and has been a licensed real estate salesman in Idaho since 1992. Don has been involved exclusively in real estate sales since March, 2006.
